The DSOL 1.x family is based on Java 1.4, and does not need Java 5.0 to run. In the DSOL 1.x family, Java 5 features such as strongly typed collections and autoboxing are not used. The Java 1.x family is still maintained, and kept up-to-date with changes that are applied in the DSOL 2.x family.

Latest version

The latest version is 1.6.10, which is the 2006 stable version of the 1.6 family, before we create version 1.7, which will have several changes and enhancements. Version 1.6.10 is optimized for Eclipse 3.1, and has been made ready for Maven 2.0.4. See the special page to find out how to use the DSOL sources in your own development environment
